All recent photos were scanned using a Umax 610S flatbed scanner. 30 bit color, scanned at 72 dpi at 100% or larger, saved in JPEG format, usually with maximum compression
Earlier photos were scanned using a Sharp flatbed 24 bit scanner. Some of the scans are not the best quality, since I've been learning this as I go. I may go back and fix some of the really bad quality ones.
Most images scanned directly into Adobe Photoshop 3.0 running on MacOS 8.1 platform
Combination of Frontpage98 running on WinNT 4, Claris Homepage 3.0 running on MacOS 8, manual html editing in a text editor.
Most graphics were created using Photoshop 3.0 manually and with various third party filters. More to come as I (hopefully) move up to Photoshop 4.0 and some fancy tools and filters.
Animations were created using Gif Builder and Photoshop.
Still under development. I'll post more when I figure this out myself and add some video content.
All photos were taken by either Blayne or Karen using a Canon EOS Rebel, except very early puppy photos, which were taken by our breeder. All photos are the property of the owners, though if you ask nicely, we'll probably let you use them for most purposes.
All pages and graphics are verified visually on a Windows platform (NT 4.0, on a P2/400) running Netscape Navigator 4.07 at 1024x768 and 65k colors on a 19" monitor. Pages are also checked on MacOS 8.1 platform running Netscape Navigator 4.03 at 640x480 thousands of colors on a 14" monitor and a 17" monitor at 1024x768 and thousands of colors.
